initial assessment
Our Initial Assessments occur at all New Patient Hygiene Visits. This is an important first step which enables us to customize a treatment strategy specifically aimed to enhance your oral well being.
For new clients, we will conduct both medical and dental assessments through a comprehensive intra-oral, extra- oral, and periodontal examination, along with a cavity risk assessment.
Additionally, during each visit we will carry out an oral cancer screening through visually and tactually examining the head, neck, face, and mouth for any potentially concerning lesions. We also blood pressure during the initial assessment along with prior to any other adult cleaning appointments
Preventive Services
Scaling refers to the process of removing built-up plaque and tartar from the teeth. It’s like giving your teeth a deep cleaning to keep them healthy and prevent gum disease.
