Holly has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 11 years. Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist, she worked as a Registered Level II Dental Assistant for 3 years. Holly studied at the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa, Ontario, obtaining a diploma in Dental Hygiene. One of Holly's greatest achievements during her studies was being awarded for demonstrating outstanding qualities in leadership, scholarship, professionalism, and humanity.
Holly truly loves to see her clients smile! She has a very kind and compassionate nature, and cares very deeply about your oral health. She is committed to serving you with quality dental hygiene care by addressing your oral and periodontal needs, provided through dental prophylaxis (cleanings) which aid in the prevention and treatment of oral disease. Holly wants her clients to be comfortable and relaxed when they walk through the door at Modern Dental Hygiene, as you can rest assured that you will be receiving top-notch dental hygiene care. Holly also takes part in yearly continuing education courses/seminars to further her education.
Holly was born and raised in St. John's. In addition to being a Dental Hygienist, Holly is also a certified yoga instructor. When not working, Holly is spending time with her husband Matt, and their sons Jonah and Henry. She enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, baking and cooking for her family as well as spending quality time with friends.

Natalie has a long history of working in dentistry that dates back to 2005 where she studied dental assisting. She soon realized that her interest in the dental field extended beyond the scope of a dental assistant, and Natalie returned to further her education and graduated Dental Hygiene in 2010.
While in school, Natalie was inspired by her instructors who were also independent practitioners and she knew that eventually this would be the path that was meant for her. Modern Dental Hygiene came to fruition in March of 2021. Being an independent dental hygienist gave Natalie more flexibility to provide her patients with a more personalized approach to care.
She takes the extra time to ensure you are comfortable, and that she is current with latest research pertaining to your oral health. Natalie has since stepped away from chairside dentistry, and welcomed Holly to the practice! Holly brings with her the same level of professional and gentle care that her clients love.

Genina has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist since graduating from Oulton College in Moncton, New Brunswick in 2013. Her dental background extends back to when she first studied in the field as a Dental Assistant in 2010. Upon graduation from Dental Hygiene, she returned to Newfoundland and began her career in St. John’s before returning to her hometown of St. Anthony in 2017.
When not at work, Genina enjoys spending time with her husband, Shawn and their two children, Torie and Owen. At the end of a long day, she can often be found curled up with a good book and a hot cup of tea.
Becoming an independent hygienist has been an ambition of Genina’s since graduation. She is excited to continue to provide the people in the St. Anthony area with high quality dental hygiene care for her patients in a relaxing new setting with Modern Dental Hygiene.
